Plain-language explanations of the main terms and abbreviations used in workspaces, reports, integrations and guides.
Who this guide is for: a guide for any FixTech user. Before making changes, make sure the correct establishment is selected.
Before you begin
- Sign in to the appropriate workspace and check the establishment name at the top of the page.
- Prepare the information you will enter. Payment and integration settings also require the provider's connection details.
- If an option is missing, check your plan and your role's permissions.
How to use the glossary
- Account, owner, role, establishment, branch and tenant. An account combines a profile and shared settings; the owner manages the account; a role defines permissions; an establishment is a separate operating and accounting location; a branch is another establishment in the same account; a tenant is the isolated data area of one owner or organization.
- Menu item, modifier, recipe card, yield, semi-finished product and Food Cost. A menu item is sold to the guest; a modifier changes its composition or price; a recipe card defines the recipe and stock write-off; yield is the finished dish's mass; a semi-finished product is prepared in advance; Food Cost is the share of cost in the selling price.
- Shift, pre-check, fiscal receipt, cash register, cash flow statement, ABC, RFM and OLAP. A shift records working time; a pre-check is not a fiscal document; a fiscal receipt is registered by the cash register; the cash flow statement shows money movements; ABC ranks contribution to results; RFM groups guests; OLAP builds a report from selected dimensions.
- Kitchen, station, stop list, order, route sheet and tracking. A kitchen groups preparation areas; a station receives its assigned items; a stop list hides unavailable items; an order stores its contents and statuses; a route sheet groups deliveries; tracking shows the permitted stage and courier location.
- UTM, EGAIS, API client, token, webhook and idempotency key. UTM exchanges documents with EGAIS; an API client receives limited programmatic access; a token proves access; a webhook reports an event; an idempotency key prevents a repeated request from creating a duplicate.

Check the result
If you see an unfamiliar term in the interface, find it in this article or enter its exact name in Help search; its meaning should match the context of the selected establishment.
Troubleshooting
- Refresh the page and select the establishment again. Some data is only shown for the selected establishment.
- Check required fields, phone number format, dates and numeric values. Save errors appear on the right below the header.
- Do not create a duplicate just because a response is slow. Open the list first and check whether the record has already been created.
